About Rawster Audio
Rawster Audio is a small operation that designs and builds audio plugins in-house (the DSP, the interfaces, the presets, all of it) and sells them one way: $30, perpetual license, free updates.
How we build
Every box is designed, tuned, and argued over by the people whose names are on it, then tested on real sessions until it holds up. Development is slow on purpose. A plugin ships when it earns its place in a session, not when a launch calendar says so, which is why the catalog page lists names without dates.
We care about three things: combination, stages that are designed to feed each other, not a rack of strangers; workflow, one gesture where other tools hand you a menu tree; and access, a simple view and an advanced view of the same engine, so the plugin meets you where you are today and keeps up with you later.
We won't claim our reverb algorithms defy physics. They're good. Listen to the demo and decide.
Why the licensing is like this
The license model (perpetual, offline, no account) isn't a growth hack; it's the product working as promised on the worst day. A session machine with no network. A studio that reinstalls between clients. A plugin you bought years ago that still opens. If our tools are in your session, they should be yours in the plainest sense of the word.
That's also why the demo is the full plugin with a volume dip instead of a crippled build with a timer: you should evaluate the thing you're actually buying.
Where this goes
More plugins, same terms. The email list gets release announcements and nothing else.
